Rainbows Wane
Refract is the first book of the signature series. In the ancient past, the universe was thrown into an uneasy imbroglio. An alien god created itself, going against the laws of conservation of mass and energy, and stretched all reality into an unnatural state of decay. This magnetic schism splits the very soul into two separate beings and dooms its victims to burn away. Now, in the twenty-fourth century, and our hero, Sayth, is searching for an interdimensional creature who can end this plight. Unfortunately, he’s also framed for the destruction of a planet and told by a mad god that the universe will end in three days.
Sayth joins and subsequently falls in love with the guardian of a pocket dimension. She’s a feline alien in human form who struggles to adapt to human ways. They rescue two reluctant dragons; one is a pompous actress who has studied at the finest academic institutions, and the other’s a timid biological engineer who once was trounced by genetically modified fruit. Together, they traverse space and dimensions, traveling to worlds inspired by surrealist artists René Magritte and M.C. Escher. Along the way, they learn how ancient civilizations used the alien god to create a society that bends reality to their whims—at a price—and discover a well-intended plot to end the universe. But can they stop the mad god’s plans in time?
The Gatekeeper
The Gatekeeper is the second book of the signature series. Since the convergence reunited a split universe, the cosmic frontier is ripe with reality bending technologies to claim. Long abandoned celestial cities, so great they spanned galactic clusters, await those bold enough to face their reapers.
The blood king, Phallun, discovered such power and used it to wage war across the universe. By killing he tears open the ghate, a dimension of souls passing from one life to the next, all to find his lost queen. It appears Phallun has harnessed the power of the ghate itself and none seem able to oppose him.
The story begins with a shattered sorceress, reduced to a young girl of four years old, as her soul has been spread throughout the dream dimension of Evnyance. She meets a mysterious disembodied shadow and eccentric ghost who speaks through a doll in her quest to reunite herself and perhaps save the universe. As she travels she grows and matures, regaining her lost memories and abilities but not all memories are kind. She will have to uncover a terrible truth about her murdered brother in the process. Can she overcome these monumental odds before all existence is stripped away?
Fifty Two
Fifty Two is a book still in the planning phase. It stars a pregnant Spiral as she and the cast struggle to find a solution to the Midnight Winds: a force spreading throughout the universe threatening to revert everything back to eternal darkness. During this endeavor she has been cast into the Celestial Cradle, the birthplace of all life. There an ancient relic manifests as a deck of cards. When she draws one she is transported through space and time into the body of another being but all pertaining to the mystery. She will witness various events first hand which ultimately lead to the end of the universe- or its salvation.
