About The Author
Matthew Stirts

I'm an author from Boulder, Colorado. As a kid, my mom would read science fiction books to me like Ringworld, The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, The Dragon Riders Of Pern, and The Chronicles Of Amber. I loved sci-fi and fantasy and built my own worlds out of clay and Legos. All of these served as eventual inspiration for my own novels.

I spent a good part of my adult life as a caregiver for my family: first to my grandparents until they died, then to my mother until she died of cancer. As such I didn't get started progressing my own life along the path I wanted to take until my thirties. Now I'm doing what I love, writing novels for the Signature series. I also work as a caregiver.

All of the art on this site was made by me, with the exception of the Rainbows Wane book cover, which I commissioned an artist to make. No AI was used. In addition to character sketches, I like to make dreamscapes of wondrous places on photoshop. These often end up as settings in my books as well.
