Ravenessence

Ravenessanse 7.jpg

The city was like and unlike any Sayth had ever seen. Ancient buildings of all different designs and styles, eras, and arrangements rested in ruin. Some towers stretched several stories tall, but most structures were of smaller scale. When one thought of the ancient wonders of the world: castles, cathedrals, and the Colosseum, Ravenessense seemed to incorporate them all. There was no logic, only whimsy, to what buildings slept in the storm.

As Sayth wandered, it became an odd clarity that only stone could withstand the rain. Cold, black stone. All traces of wood and weaker materials had long been stripped away. Doors, shutters, shingles, and so on were nowhere to be found.

The streets were paved in cobblestone and half flooded by rainbows of ethereal water. It pattered and splashed and gurgled and gushed, ever rending, never ending. Baleful black clouds rolled overhead, and he couldn’t tell if it was day or night. Everything was illuminated by the rain in eerie flickers of colored light. Not a soul was to be seen.

Ravenessence is a location in TriCora on the continent of Ruine. It is considered cursed and forbidden and therefor lays abandon to the ages. The dimensional fabric is thinnest here and buildings from all places and eras have slipped though to occupy it. Because the ghate is also seeping though all materials turn to cold, black dead stone. The rain that falls is signature energy from across the universe manifesting as colored water. A full spectrum of colors fall but they never mix despite flowing together in brilliant rivers and canals. It serves as a sort of flagship location for the signature series.

Here you can find all the stores carrying the Signature series in one convenient place. Currently Rainbows Wane is the only book available but The Gatekeeper is scheduled to be released in the following months.
